Management changes in FGV

KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) is undertaking management changes to improve operational efficiencies and internal key performance indicators.

The changes, effective today, include enhancing the existing management team via portfolio optimisation within the group, FGV said in a statement.

It announced that Fairuz Ismail has been appointed as the new executive vice-president for FGV’s transformation management office. He was previously the executive vice-president and head of global plantations for Felda Global Ventures Plantation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (FGVPM). 

FGVPM’s new chief executive officer and head of plantation cluster is Abdul Halim Ahmad, who was previously the executive vice-president of downstream operations.

Farisan Mokhtar is the new senior vice-president of business development for downstream cluster while Datuk Abd Halim Hamid is the senior vice-president and head of Southeast Asia & Oceania desk of FGV. 

Zakaria Arshad, meanwhile, will be the new senior vice-president and acting head of downstream cluster and Denys Colin Munang is appointed as the vice-president and group CEO of Pontian United Plantations Bhd. 

Soh Kim Yaw will be the vice-president for FGVPM while Daniel Lee V’nn Ckh’ng will be appointed as the acting vice-president and chief information officer of FGV.
